LED display Certification and Quality Standard

Nowadays, the LED display gradually moves towards the market. In order to better use the LED display, we need to understand the LED display certification and quality standards.


First, led display certification of different countries and regions

National certification notes

U.S. ETL, UL, FCC (mandatory), CSA-US, and Voice of Energy LED display products mainly comply with UL8750 “LED Equipment Used in Lighting Products” and at the same time consider the safety standards of certain lighting fixtures. The “Equipment Efficiency Regulations of 2009” released by the United States in 2009 in California increased the requirements for light transmission, luminous efficacy, color temperature, and color rendering index of portable LED lamps.

Canada’s CSA, ULCULICCETL U.S. certification applies to the Canadian market

Japan’s VCCI, PSE (mandatory) “S” mark PSE circular domestic third-party laboratory can test the certification; PSE diamond shape after testing by a third-party laboratory, the Japanese agency audit certification.

South Korea KC, KCC, ATT

European CE (mandatory), VDE, GSRoshs test EMC requirements for TUVLED luminaires are mainly IEC/EN61547 EMC immunity requirements for everyday lighting fixtures, IEC/EN61000-3-2 harmonic current emission limits, IEC/EN61000-3-3 Voltage fluctuations and flicker limits and EN55015 radio disturbance characteristic limits and methods of measurement.
